I am not a good player, so perhaps I misunderstood your gripes with the 212, but isn't that supposed to be punishable because it's meant to be confirmed before the second 2, so you could decide on branching the string into 2 or block after 1?

(as opposed to, say, Kitana's b231 which has to be dialed whole before the b2 finishes) So, unless you are punishing something extremely unsafe, you go 21 and confirm it into the juggle or simply stop after the 1. That said, 212 isn't a full dial up exclusive string (i don't know how to call the mechanic lol), since 21 is also a string and it's safe. I play her at mid range, I don't like zoning with her too much. Not sure if Devs read this discussion or not, but I hope they fix some of the characters frame data.ĭoesn't seem fair when you have other characters like Sonya and Noob with FAST strings that have highs and lows in the mix that are less punishable. I really like Skarlet and am trying to main her, but at least make her plain no-mixup strings not punishable. I guess we have the overhead scythe move, that takes like 22 frames to start, which is also SUPER minus on block. Also, the crouch-junkies that low poke all game, you can't even 1,2,4 them because 1 is a high and it whiffs every time. The only 'string' you can cancel into is 1,2,4 but even so there are openings in that string that can be punished. 2,1,2 should not be that minus on block, it's a vanilla opener with no overhead or low, and can't even be cancelled. What is up with Skarlet's frame data? Everything is punishable which is BS considering she has no mixups.
